Membership on the Mount Southington (MTSO) Freestyle Team includes an unrestricted Season Pass and personal, professional training by our certified coaches. Many participants join the program upon completion of our Intro to Freeskiing Program.

Our Freestyle Team consists of both skiers and snowboarders ages 6 - 20 who wish to learn freestyle and improve their techniques, while having fun on the slopes. This is your chance to train and compete your way! NOTE: The skier or rider must be able to navigate the entire mountain and ride the chairlift independently, and riders must be able to link turns.

Our goal oriented, progressive learning program provides skiers and riders with the opportunity to enhance their skills and abilities with emphasis on safety. This program is designed to be fun while helping young people develop physically, psychologically, and socially. Our finest certified coaches will teach skiers and riders various freestyle fundamentals to utilize both in the program and on their own! This learning experience also gives athletes the chance to interact with others and share their passion.

Dryland training begins TBD and continues on TBD from 10:00AM - 12:00PM. Once the area opens, the athletes hit the slopes and terrain park every Wednesday from 6:30PM - 9:00PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00AM - 2:00PM.

The Freestyle Team will compete in competitions throughout Connecticut and Southern New England. Dates will be announced once they are solidified.
