Group Rate Information 2007-2008

If you have at least 15 people who want to ski together but don’t want to stand in long lines waiting to buy tickets, Mt. Southington has the solution for you. We make it easy for groups to hit the slopes as soon as they arrive.
Once you pick a group leader, have your leader call Mt. Southington’s Business Office for our easy-to-complete group packet. The group leader must do the following.
Group Packet – 4 Steps To Fun On The Slopes
- Inside this Packet is a Group Calendar. The group leader should complete this Calendar as soon as possible and fax or mail it back to Mt. Southington. This Calendar reserves the group’s preferred dates.
Also included in this Packet is a Group Rate Sheet with schedules and group prices. In order to receive group rates, the leader must pre-register and receive confirmation at least 72 hours in advance of coming.
- Next, the forms: a Ski Rental Card, a Snowboard Rental Card, the Skiing Release and Indemnity Agreement and, finally, the very important Skier’s Responsibility Code.
Duplicate the Rental cards and number each, starting with the #1, putting each number in the box, Renter Identification Number, located at the upper right hand corner of the card. All renters, including advisors, must complete the appropriate card.
Once completed, get these Rental cards back to us – either mail or hand deliver them. Best is to get them back to us before the group arrives. If this is not possible, the leader can bring the cards when the group comes. But if the goal is to ski not stand in long lines, getting these Rental cards to Mt. Southington beforehand is best.
Important reminders: All Rental cards must be signed by renters and all renters must know their Renter Identification Number. And, if the renter is a minor, then mom, dad or a guardian must sign the card on the backside.
Everyone must complete the Skiing Release and Indemnity Agreement and everyone must sign this Agreement. And again, whenever the group member is a minor, then a parent or guardian must sign.
Finally, the Skiers Responsibility Code. Please duplicate this Code and give it to each member of your group.
- The Ticket Tally Sheets tells us how many skiers/boarders are in your group. Be accurate when completing, then fax, mail or call us with your numbers before your arrival. The only way we can print your tickets ahead of time is to have these numbers in advance.
- Now for the easy step. When the group arrives at Mt. Southington, the leader must report to the Business Office, pick up the group’s tickets and make payments. It’s time to get the group out on the slopes.
